Dear Families,

All of us here at Dancers’ Workshop, students, staff, and faculty, are working very hard to produce our end of school year Progress Performance.

The results of the exceptional dedication and perseverance of our students promises to be a wonderful performance for us all. The support of dancers’ families is crucial to their success and we acknowledge your huge commitment with gratitude.

This performance opportunity for the students is a great chance for friends and family to appreciate their hard work, both technically and artistically.

Performance is an integral component in the training of a young dancer. The class bonding, learning of choreography, and rehearsal process provide an accelerated learning opportunity while the performance itself furthers the development of our students.

Everything you need to know about Progress Performance will be posted here. Please read all the information carefully and check here often as schedules can and do change.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will do our best to address them.

Thank you for trusting us with the education of your young artists. We are all very excited to show off their incredible gifts. See you at the show!

Sincerely,

Eric Midgley

School Director

STAGE REHEARSAL SCHEDULES

Please Note:

  • For tech rehearsals, dancers should go to their assigned classroom in dress code 30 minutes before their scheduled tech time to check in and get into costume. (If your child rides the activity bus, this should still get them to their stage rehearsals on time.)

  • For dress rehearsals and shows, students must check in to their assigned dressing room by or before their listed call time.

  • A DW staff member will escort you backstage for your rehearsal.

  • All times, show orders, etc. are estimates and may change as the performance grows closer. We appreciate your flexibility and patience.

What you need: Please come ready to dance, in full dress code including hair and shoes as required for your piece.

Tech Schedule

All dancers should arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled stage rehearsal, OR by the beginning of their assigned class time if their on stage rehearsal takes place during their normal class hour.

If your child’s rehearsal time falls during their regularly scheduled class time, please plan on them staying for the entire length of their class.
